Everything worth asking first.
Who can apply?
Indian residents with a PAN, an Aadhaar linked to their mobile number, and a bank account. Loans run from ₹2,500 to ₹11,000, for 7 to 30 days.
How long does it take?
Around ten minutes end to end. Most of that is you typing; the decision itself takes about a minute, and the money reaches your account by UPI within five minutes of your accepting the offer.
What does it cost?
Interest accrues daily. Because there is a single repayment, the whole cost is one figure in rupees, and it is on your offer screen before you accept — not a rate for you to work out. The calculator above shows an indicative amount at 2.3% per day.
Who is actually lending me the money?
An NBFC registered with the Reserve Bank of India. SaathiCash is a Loan Service Provider: we run the application, the checks and the servicing, and the loan agreement is between you and that company.
What happens to my Aadhaar number?
It never reaches us. Our KYC provider is licensed to query UIDAI and holds the number in its own vault; we keep only a reference token, the verification status and the date.
Can I ask you to delete my data?
Yes. We remove the details that identify you and keep the pseudonymous record of the decision, which the law requires to be retainable. While a loan is live the records tied to it cannot be removed, and we will tell you so rather than quietly do half of it.
Does the app read my contacts or messages?
No. RBI prohibits a digital lending app from requesting contacts, call logs, SMS or media, and we do not ask for them. The one-time code fills in through Android’s SMS Retriever, which needs no permission at all.
What if I cannot repay on time?
Contact us before the due date. Late charges apply only after it and are set out in the agreement you sign, in rupees, before you accept the loan.
